Meet Liz

Hi, I’m Liz Granato, a reading specialist and educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. I’m passionate about helping struggling readers develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
In my work as a reading specialist at Glendora Elementary School, I’ve seen how the right instruction can make a meaningful difference for students who find reading challenging.
Working in a small school has given me the opportunity to provide targeted support to every student who needs it. I understand that in larger schools, it isn’t always possible to deliver the individualized reading intervention some students require.
When students finally receive focused instruction that addresses their specific needs, the growth we see can be remarkable. Experiences like these have reinforced my belief that with the right intervention and support, every child can make meaningful progress in reading.
Through Sound by Sound Reading Intervention, my goal is to help students develop strong foundational reading skills while building the confidence that comes from truly understanding how reading works.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy coaching my daughter’s basketball team, diving into a great book, and spending time with my dogs, Riley and Sebastian.
If you are concerned with your child's reading progress, a quick conversation could help clarify the next steps. Let's talk!
